Handicap Accessible - Lombard Road Entrance
Arlington Food Pantry - St. John's has a basket in the Church Nave
for donations to the Arlington Food Pantry and also has Church School
projects which educate the parish youth on giving back to your
community and helping our neighbors.
UNICEF's Desks for Malawi - The parishioners of St. John's donated
funds to buy desks for students in Malawi where there had been only
wood or dirt flooring. Through contributions, 93 desks were donated.
Incubators for Premature Babies- with the generous donations of
St. John's family,227 portable incubators were purchased to help
combat low-birth-weight and premature babies who often die in
developing nations as a result of hypothermia.
Kiyosato Educational Experiment Project (KEEP) in Yamanashi,
Japan is hosting displaced families with preschool children at KEEP’s St.
Francis Discovery Center. Partnering with local businesses, other
non-profits, and individuals, KEEP is providing housing, clothing, meals,
and activities for families left homeless by the earthquake and tsunami in
Tohoku. KEEP booklets and donation envelopes are available at the back
of St. John's Church Nave.
