Lessons for this Unit- Being Good Stewards- The older students will be working on a project to help St. John's Parishioners become good stewards of the earth's resources. They will conduct a recycling survey, install recycling receptacles in convenient areas in the Church building and present an awareness campaign during the February Youth Sunday. They will lead the younger students in activities associated with this project. We look forward to the support and encouragement of St. John's Parishioners as the Church School students explore and develop their understanding of what it means to be good stewards of God's gifts.

Episcopal Church Women Activity- SOAP FOR SALE - Calling all St. John's crafters! - Led by Charlotte Pierce, our first session of soap making was a big hit! Cate Barr, Sophia Romano, Lauren Romano, Page Lindsay, Christine Carney and Barbara Johns milled a variety of soaps that they will have wrapped and labeled for sale after this Sunday's service for $5.00 a bar; this all natural soap has scents including cardamon, eucalyptus, orange, and hibiscus flower. Proceeds will be seed money for future Holiday Fair Crafting events and St. John's Outreach Mission projects.
Can you zip out a fluffy fleece hat? Are you a cracker crocheter or knitter? Do you jump at the chance to make jewelry? Over the moon for origami ornaments? What craft would you like to learn or teach your friends at St. John's? Following the success of Sarah Griffin's quilting booth at the Fair this year, a suggested plan is to center next year's fair around handcrafted items and demonstrations. Throughout the coming year, we'll teach and learn how to make unique, salable handcrafted items for sale at the 2012 Fair. To sign up to teach or learn a craft, look for one of the signup sheets at coffee hour, or call Charlotte at 781-258-9608 or the church office at 781-648-4819. Stay tuned for more dates and times and sign up to facilitate or participate!

The Jericho Bible Study Group will read the Gospel of Luke and meet on Monday, Feb. 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the Memorial Room. Anyone interested is invited to join us even if they don't have a chance to read the whole gospel.

Join the Lent and Easter Festival Choir today! - Have you always wanted to sing in the Choir but don't have time for a full year commitment? Join us for the Lent and Easter seasons. We practice on Sundays at 9:00AM, before the 10:00AM service. You do not have to be able to read music. Consider sharing your voice as a Lenten offering. See Esther Kwok, Choir Director and Organist any Sunday to participate.

Stewardship - Complete your Pledge Form today
Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house and thus put me to the test and see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing. (Malachi 3:10)

Matching Gifts - Many companies offer to match contributions made by their employees to charities. During this Pledge Season, we encourage you to explore any matching gift option that may be available. Your pledge, plus a matching gift, would increase our capacity to spread the Good News throughout the world. The Rector
