St. John's Work in the World
Our Outreach Committee strives to take action locally and globally in bringing our mission into the world.  The members of the Committee serve in various ways and on various projects.  Listed below are some of the current projects at St. John's Arlington.  Please see Rev. Wong or any of the members of the Committee if you would like to get involved or lend a hand on a specific event.

Arlington EATS Market & NEAT:
We raise funds to support the Arlington EATS Market that is housed in our Parish Hall.  We also accept food donations for the EATS Market.  To find out more about the Arlington EATS Market click here.  We also sponsor monthly Community Dinners  - Neighbors Eating All Together (NEAT) for the public free of charge. Guatemala Aid Fund:  St John’s has been actively involved with the Guatemala Aid fund, raising money and awareness for this mission.  The Guatemala Aid Fund is a local organization that support two  orphanages and a school in Guatemala. To find out more about the work of the Guatemala Aid Fund click hereAn important project is completing construction of a new community center which will house medical services, education, and training programs in Solola. Last year GAF built a new parenting support center in Guatemala City. St. John's Coffeehouse Concerts:
We host professional musicians for monthly concerts in our Sanctuary with the proceeds supporting the Arlington EATS Market and Affordable Housing in Arlington.

English At Large:
We sponsor weekly classes to help recent immigrants to the United States learn English skills.

Holiday Help:
St. John's participates in the annual Holiday Help program, securing gifts for families during the Christmas Season.
