St. John's is operating a cooling center on Tuesdays and Fridays, 1-4pm, from July 3rd to August 28th, 2026. It is free and open to the public. All are welcome to come escape the heat in our air-conditioned parish hall! There will be light refreshments and entertainment (books, magazines, movies, etc.) 

This cooling resource center is funded by the town of Arlington as part of its Cool & Connected Grant Program and is one of three in the area. Please enter through the side door near the corner of Pleasant St and Lombard Rd. It will be open and visible from the sidewalk near the Cooling Center sign board.
